No. Prepaid credits never expire and carry over indefinitely. If you stop using the platform and return months later, your balance will still be there.
Only successful API calls (HTTP 200) are charged. Validation errors (HTTP 422), authentication failures (HTTP 401), and sandbox calls are always free. Rate limit responses (HTTP 429) are also free.
Yes. Subscription plans include a monthly quota (e.g., 500 verifications on Starter). Once your quota is used, additional calls are billed from your prepaid credit balance automatically.
API calls will return HTTP 402 (Payment Required) once your balance reaches zero. Manually purchase a credit bundle from the developer portal to resume calls. Auto-topup is planned for a future release.
